However, there was nothing but love for the dress on social media, as Muireann’s fans and followers adored the look.
The Virgin Media star paired the dress with brown wedge sandals to complete her summer look.
It’s the perfect outfit to get inspired for the summer months and would be perfect for a holiday abroad in the sun.
You can also pair the dress with a pair of flats if you’re looking for a more laid-back vibe.
The Jarlotte Tiered Hem Midi Dress costs €39.99 and is available to buy on iClothing here.
Muireann’s super stylish look comes after she ruled out running away and having a “secret wedding” with her fiancé.
The couple have yet to start planning their big day, but there will be no secret wedding as two of the Ireland AM host’s siblings have already done so.
She joked that there was politics involved in preparing for the wedding, but she can’t involve her mother Marie in a big Irish wedding.
Muireann told RSVP Live: “Two of my siblings have done this to my mum before so they screwed me up. There were discussions with them about it.
“Who are you bringing? Who are you not bringing? Where do you do it? will be like ‘Excuse me?’ There is politics involved.”
