For every woman, getting married is very important. The moment our mothers told us that we would go home after we got married, we waited for the day. The bride donned designer ace, lehenga by Tarun Tahiliani

Bride of the Week, Shivani Bafna is an entrepreneur and founder of a social media agency. She had tied the knot with her longtime beau, Shyam Shah in Jaipur. The bride wore lehenga by design ace Tarun Tahiliani. For the big day, she had worn a peach-colored lehenga with a unique long-sleeved peplum style. choli. It had a scalloped detail at the hem.

The bride also shared the story behind her wedding lehenga, which she tried on two years ago for fun. In an Instagram post, the bride revealed:

“I tried this lengha just for fun in 2019 and sent a mirror selfie to my parents (see the last photo). Two years later, while shopping for the wedding, I still had this outfit in mind. Delicate yet opulent, elegant yet impactful. It was just right. Nothing else caught my eye to try, so this long is the ONLY bridal long I’ve ever tried! One of those full circle moments.

The bride accented her look with a diamond choker, matching earrings and a nath and one matha patti. Her look was completed with minimal makeup, a little stud bindi and her hair was tied in an elegant bun.

The bride had donned a Rajputana style outfit for her Mayra ceremony

For the maira ceremony, the bride wore a beautiful lavender-colored floral lehenga with choli and a match dupatta. She styled her look with a trendy necklace, matching earrings and a sheeshpatti.

On the other hand, her fiancé had worn a gray colored dress bandh gala combination. The bride also gave a beautiful performance, which brought her mother to tears. Sharing the video, the bride wrote:

“Note to self: never look at your parents if you’re dancing to an emotional song, because you’ll 100% forget your steps!! Many of you already know this, but my mom NEVER cries. My dad always has been the emotional one!! Coming into the wedding, mom told everyone she wouldn’t shed a tear, and lo and behold, she started sobbing in that dance. Mission accomplished.
