This doctor bride wore a dark red Mughal-inspired lehenga at her wedding

Indian brides seem to make more news than Bollywood divas. Well, this is the reason why brides in many South Asian countries have started choosing Indian designers over their Western counterparts, to dress them up on their special day. And, lehenga and sarees remain their top picks. Apart from NRIs and people from other Asian communities, many professional brides have also started setting serious fashion goals on their wedding day. From lawyers to doctors, you won’t find a modern Indian professional lady who isn’t dressed to perfection on her wedding day and we met a real doctor bride, who killed on her wedding day like no one else.

Real bride Muskaan Solanki (Kataria), who is a doctor by profession, stunned in a dark red tulle and silk lehenga by designer duo Rimple and Harpreet.

The popular creators shared some photos of the pretty professional on their Instagram page. Her ensemble was inspired by details of Moorish architecture, sacred geometry and Mughal-style roses, with the designs being handcrafted on the fragile tulle base using dabka, nakshi, resham, sequins , pearls and glass crystals. The look was completed with a sheer tulle dupattas. Muskaan accessorized the look with beautiful gold and emerald jewelry.

The handsome groom Tushar Kataria was also dressed by the same designer duo. The groom chose an ivory-colored raw silk sherwani for the wedding ceremony. The jacket featured a classic floral jaal derived from an archival textile, rendered using sucha gota, resham and Kashmiri tilla. The sherwani was paired with a silk stole adorned with traditional hand-printed Varq ka Kaam and Marodi embroidery. The look was completed with a silk kurta, churidar and handcrafted shoes.
